A Legal Disclaimer

Welcome to Higher Impact People LLC (“HIP”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and any content, functionality, and transactions provided through www.higherimpactpeople.com (“Site”). By using our Site or engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

1.  Eligibility

Our services are currently available to individuals who:

  • Are at least 18 years old

  • Are seeking employment opportunities in Massachusetts (regardless of where they currently live)

  • Are legally eligible to work in the United States

By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2.  Our Services

HIP offers career advancement support and placement services to individuals. These services include, but are not limited to:

  • Personalized resume development

  • Market analysis and opportunity targeting

  • Direct marketing to hiring decision-makers

  • Interview preparation and negotiation strategy

We offer structured service packages with associated pricing and timelines. Details of current packages are described on our website and may change at our discretion.

3.  Client Commitments

By engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Actively participate in scheduled meetings and evaluations

  • Notify us by time-stamped email or through your client portal if you wish to cancel or opt out within the designated grace periods

  • Make timely payments as outlined in your service agreement

4.  Payment Terms

HIP accepts online payments for service packages.

  • Strategic Planning, the Readiness & Roadmap package, $1,000 refundable until delivery of Résumé + Focus List + Action Plan.  This fee becomes non-refundable when items are delivered at the start of the Readiness & Roadmap meeting.

  • Advocacy Campaign, the Career Advocacy services are billed in 30-day increments at $500/month for up to three (3) months.  You cancel at any time; prior payments are not prorated/refunded.  After three months, support may continue at $250/month with no automatic billing.

  • Lat Mile Strategic Planning, this fee is $2,500.   Services include Interview & Negotiation preparation.  This fee is invoiced on the client’s 30-day anniversary and may be paid in full or in four equal installments over eight weeks.  A $500 discount applies if the full amount is paid within 14 days of invoice.  An additional $500 discount applies if a public facing testimonial is provided.

Clients are responsible for ensuring valid and updated payment methods are on file. Late payments may incur a 10% penalty or service interruption.

5.  No Guarantees

While HIP guarantees delivery of custom resumes, market evaluations, and active promotion to selected employers, we do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment outcomes, compensation levels, or benefits.

6.  User Accounts

When account features become available, users will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported to us immediately.

7.  Communication & Notifications

When you opt in, you agree to receive transactional communications via email and text, including appointment confirmations, reminders, and one-to-one updates.

  • Marketing emails are only sent to subscribers who opt in and may be unsubscribed at any time.

  • HIP does not send bulk SMS marketing messages. SMS messages are only used for one-to-one communication with established customers.

8.  Refund & Cancellation

Clients may request a full refund of their $1,000 payment for the Readiness and Roadmap package, anytime prior to delivery of the Résumé + Focus List + Action Plan — this period is known as the Reflection Window.  After this window closes, the fee is considered earned and non-refundable.

For monthly Career Advocacy services, clients may pause or cancel their subscription anytime prior to their next billing period. This is also considered a Reflection Window. After this time, the monthly fee is considered earned for that period, and no prorated refunds are issued.

All cancellation or pause requests must be submitted by time-stamped email, SMS, or self initiated through the client portal where the payment was setup.

Refunds typically require 1–2 business days for internal processing and may take an additional 3–5 business days depending on your financial institution.

9.  Testimonials

Clients who submit a testimonial within 30 days of their job start may receive a $500 discount applied to the Last Mile Strategic Planning invoice. This incentive is optional and must meet minimum content requirements (e.g., 50 characters, submitted via the portal).   To qualify, the client must be successfully placed — meaning they were hired by a targeted company and remained employed for at least 30 consecutive days — and must submit a testimonial of at least 50 characters through the client portal within 30 days of the invoice date.

Submitted testimonials may be published for marketing purposes, including with minor typos intact, and the discount will be automatically applied if eligibility requirements are met.  Language and sentiment will not be censored, but profanity will not be accepted.

Testimonial content may be published unless otherwise requested. We reserve the right to edit content only to remove spam, slurs, or inappropriate language.
